chosun galbi

Chosun Galbi is a continuation of the story I began telling at Chen’s. At the tail end of a day spent circling the outskirts of Austin, I was exhausted from eating, so I figured I would revive myself by eating more at Chosun Galbi. There was some solid reasoning behind this as Korean cuisine is known for its restorative qualities. Maybe it’s the omnipresent red pepper in Korean cooking, but as soon as I dove into a bowl of spicy crab meat soup, I found new reserves of energy. Or at least enough oomph to get myself to the car and aim towards a cushy sofa with my name on it.
