A restaurant without buzz is like a dog without a bark. Yes there’s the serene appeal that comes with silence, but after a while you want some sound. Suffice to say Justine’s Brasserie is not the basenji of the Austin eating scene, but more like a French bulldog. It’s got tons of energy in somewhat of a compact package and it’s cute in a toughy type of way. People flow in here from all over town and the energy that comes with the mix is intoxicating. Or maybe the intoxication comes from the drinks that the bar is pouring. Whatever it is, Justine’s has got the buzz.
