First Come, First Served
It’s a particular quirk of mine, when I’m traveling in foreign lands, that before I head to any monument, temple or museum I aim for the local markets—both the open air markets and the more modern, westernized groceries. I guess then it makes sense here in the States that I’m always sniffing around for great ethnic groceries and Apna Bazaar falls firmly into that category with it’s mix of Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi goods. Even if you don’t cook any of these cuisines, this small market is a treasure trove of spices and rices and ingredients that can be used in your everyday diet.
